Galatasaray, meanwhile, have rekindled their pursuit, with reports suggesting a potential January 2026 loan move incorporating a buy option valued between 2.5-3.5 million euros.

Just last month, on October 12, he netted his first international goal for Turkey in a 2026 World Cup qualifier, capping 56 caps and three strikes overall, while remaining a reliable fixture in Gasperini's setup.
