Kaze and Ben Youssef took charge of Amakhosi last month following the departure of Nasreddine Nabi, under whom they had both served as assistants.
The duo have since brought a sense of stability to the club, guiding Chiefs to the CAF Confederation Cup group stages and keeping them competitive in the Betway Premiership, where they sit third on 22 points, three behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
"We have a great technical team, and at the moment we're sitting in a good position on the log," Motaung Jr told Sowetan during the CAF interclub competition draw in Randburg.
"Coach Kaze and coach Khalil have done a tremendous job. They've been with this team since last year and were involved in recruitment, so they understand our process."

"We're focused on creating an environment where they can give their best. We'll take it game by game and assess things at the end of the season," he added.
Amakhosi's immediate priority is their CAF Confederation Cup Group D opener against Al Masry in Alexandria on November 23, with ZESCO United and Zamalek completing a difficult group.
"We know the calibre of teams in this competition - top clubs - so we're excited about the challenge ahead," said the Chiefs sporting director.
