The 21-year-old centre-back has quickly become a vital part of Galaxy's defensive unit and recently earned a call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad — a sign of his rapid rise in South African football.
Speaking about the rumours linking him with a possible move to Chloorkop, Ndamane chose to remain grounded and focused on his current club.
"Let's focus here; let's put the Sundowns matter aside because it will cause problems for us. I play for TS Galaxy," Ndamane told KickOff.
"I wish to play for a big team or go overseas one day, and I believe my time will come."
Ndamane's success story is also seen by many as a reminder of Kaizer Chiefs' struggles to retain promising academy players. The young defender once formed part of Amakhosi's development structures before finding success elsewhere.
He now shares the Galaxy dressing room with Puso Dithejane and Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi, both of whom captained Chiefs' DStv Diski Challenge-winning team last season before leaving Naturena. Similarly, Omega Mdaka, who has been shining at Stellenbosch FC, continues to prove that Chiefs may have let go of future stars too soon.
As Ndamane continues to grow in stature, he faces what could be a crucial chapter in his career. The youngster has been part of Bafana Bafana's recent squads and has again been included in the selection for the upcoming international friendly against Zambia.
