Speaking after the match, Urbig credited the squad's collective effort in turning the game around. "We're happy as a team and so am I. My personal emotions were secondary today. We did a great job as a team and came back from a deficit. It was a very good team performance," Urbig said.
"Koln are playing a good season and have a good team. We were prepared for that. We had to show everything to win. We're happy we were able to keep our run going. It was a good game of football."
Bayern fell behind in the 31st minute when Ragnar Ache headed in from a corner, but responded swiftly. Luis Diaz leveled five minutes later by slotting home the rebound after Ron-Robert Zieler parried Josip Stanisic's effort.
Harry Kane then put the visitors ahead two minutes later with a clever spin-and-finish from Michael Olise's pass, before adding his second, a close-range header from a Joshua Kimmich corner, in the 64th minute. Olise sealed the win with 18 minutes left, sweeping in from the penalty spot after a swift break involving Aleksandar Pavlović and Díaz.
Vincent Kompany's side dominated the second half, showcasing the depth and attacking firepower that has fueled their flawless start to the season. The result marked Bayern's 14th consecutive win across all competitions, a new record for a European top-five league side to open a campaign, and extended their unbeaten streak against Köln to 21 games (19 wins, two draws).
Urbig's assured display has further highlighted his promise as one of Germany's top young goalkeepers, though chances will remain scarce with Manuel Neuer back to full fitness and in top form. Still, these back-to-back outings have boosted confidence in his progress among the coaching staff.
