The deal is in place for the next two editions of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations - Morocco 2025 and the historic joint-hosted 2027 tournament in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The agreement was signed in Guangzhou, China, marking a continuation of the collaboration that began with the 2023 edition of the tournament held in Cote d'Ivoire. That event captured the attention of over 1.5 billion viewers in 178 countries, making it one of the most widely followed sporting events in Africa's history.
CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe expressed satisfaction with the renewed deal, underlining the importance of long-term commercial partnerships to grow the game on the continent.
"We are pleased to renew our partnership with Apsonic following the success of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d'Ivoire 2023. It is important to CAF that significant commercial value and benefits are created for our sponsors," the CAF President was quoted on the CAF website.
"We look forward to expanding our mutually beneficial relationship and continuing our joint commitment to developing African football."
Apsonic, widely recognized across Africa for its reliable and affordable motorcycles, has become a household name in several African countries.
Zhang Lian, Chairman of Sincerity Holdings Group, noted the brand's strong connection to African communities and sports.
"As a well-known motorcycle brand in Africa, Apsonic has earned trust for its quality and contribution to daily life. We are proud to support African culture, livelihood, and football," said Lian.
"The speed and passion that drive both motorcycles and football continue to bring joy to millions across the continent."
As part of the new agreement, Apsonic will receive premium brand visibility across all CAF platforms, including in-stadium advertising, digital campaigns, and fan engagement activities.
The renewed partnership reflects the growing commercial appeal of AFCON and the strategic role of corporate sponsors in elevating African football on the global stage.
